The Department of Occupational Therapy offers a professional program leading to a Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) degree. The OT Program prepares students to become highly-skilled, evidence-based, and innovative occupational therapy practitioners, managers, and contributors. Students will develop the skills needed to assume leadership roles within health, education, and wellness systems. The Department of Occupational Therapy also offers post-professional graduate degrees. The Master of Science (MS) in Occupational Therapy degree and Clinical Science Doctorate (CScD) in Occupational Therapy degrees are advanced practice programs for occupational therapists with entry-level Bachelor's or Master's degrees. These programs are intended for occupational therapists, educated in the United States or internationally, who are seeking advanced knowledge and skills. The Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Rehabilitation Science degree is offered through the School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences (SHRS) and is designed for individuals who want to develop advanced skills as researchers in occupational therapy.
